There are several things I found interesting or beneficial in this cookbook. A few improvements, as well, would help users.First, the good points:For each item (including sauces) the author provides estimated Prep Time; Cook Time; whether it is a one pot item; total time; easy to read list of ingredients; instructions; tips regarding ingredients and variations. At the bottom for each dish or entree, is a per serving analysis of macronutrients.There are some items that, frankly, do not appeal to my taste. That, however, is not important.Improvements that should be considered:For spice the author seems unaware of how white pepper can so enhance such items as "Dad's Sausage Gravy" which would take what looks like a great variation on the old-fashioned original. The white pepper, I believe, would really enhance this gravy. This one variation, btw, on my favorite breakfast meal, made my purchase of this book a satisfying investment.Formatting is a bit of an issue with this book. Not enough to make a big deal, but enough to note.Lastly, a few more photographs of the finished dish would help.BOTTOM LINEDespite the minor, every minor, shortcomings, I am recommending this book to anybody struggling with weight loss. Despite all my efforts, I have been staying within the same rage now for two years. The book has some good recipes which i appreciate very much. I have been doing keto and i love dairy but i feel like dairy is something that is holding me a little bit back from achieving my ultimate goal. I was very excited when i found this book on Amazon and bought it before it was released.what i find insulting is the recipe to cook BACON like come on really do you really need to use a page to explain how bacon should be cooked? or did you ran out of recipes and needed a filler?What really really REALLY made me furious was the recipe on how to boil eggs. Does one really need a recipe on how to boil EGGS? how difficult is it to boil an egg? HOW? i dont understand. Please help me understand!This is what really bothered me and made me furious about this book.
